We will follow-up with you to work out the details of the visit, how many staff members you would like to include in the training and other specifics of your needs regarding training development.
TOPIC AREAS TO CHOOSE FROM INCLUDE
Workshops can be developed focusing on one or a combination of the topic areas outlined below, depending on the needs, interest and level of experience of your staff:
- Research and best practices in service-learning strategies
- Development of Culminating Projects
- Authentic Program development, tailored to your classroom/building/district needs. We provide Program framework/templates that allow instructors to build a service-learning program based on existing curriculum, or development of a new program.
- Building strong partnerships with local organizations
- Provide multiple models and examples of actual service-learning projects and programs
- Risk management and liability overview and support
- Grant writing in the service-learning field
- Meeting EALRs through the use of service-learning curriculum
